WATER MUST BE BOILING HOT FOR CUSTARD TO THICKEN 1. Weigh out required amount of custard mix as per table above and place into a large enough bowl. 2. Pour boiling water onto the custard powder and mix with either a fork or whisk until smooth and creamy ensuring all the powder at the bottom is mixed in. HANDY HINTS & TIPS If you prefer your custard less thick then top up with boiling water. For best results leave to stand for 1 minute before serving. If custard does not thicken, place in a saucepan and heat to boiling whilst serving. If put into a Bain Marie custard will thicken during service. You can add a little boiling water as necessary
